Care Guide
Storage
- Let them cool fully before storing.
- Keep in an airtight container at room temperature.
- Add a slice of bread to the container to help keep them soft.
- Best within 3 to 5 days.
Fridge
- Usually not needed.
- Refrigeration can dry them out and make them firmer.
Freezing
- Freeze baked cookies in an airtight container or freezer bag for up to 2 months.
- Separate layers with parchment paper.
- You can also freeze the dough balls and bake from frozen; just add a few extra minutes.
Reheating
- Microwave 10 to 15 seconds for a soft, gooey center.
- For a slightly crisp outside, warm in the oven at about 160°C for 3 to 5 minutes.
Handling
- Avoid stacking them while still warm or they may collapse and get soggy.
- If they’re very thick, make sure the centers are fully baked before storing.
Best texture tips
- Keep them sealed well so they do not dry out.
- Warm before eating if you want that bakery-style texture again.
